In 1994, during the artistic directorship of Dieter Dorn, she became a permanent ensemble member of the Münchner Kammerspiele. There, her roles included Louise in *Kabale und Liebe* (Intrigue and Love) and Sonya in *Onkel Wanja* (Uncle Vanya). In 2002, she and the ensemble were awarded the Kurt Meisel Prize for their performance in *Hekabe* (Hecuba). In 2006, she was once again honored with the Kurt Meisel Prize for her portrayal of Maria Stuart in the drama of the same name.
In 2010, she played the title role in *Anna Karenina* at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus.
Since 2002, Schudt has regularly appeared before the camera for film and television productions. She made her screen debut in the television drama *Im Chaos der Gefühle* (In the Chaos of Emotions).
